PRESS RELEASE
MANNING WINTER FESTIVAL BRIGHTENS OUR WORLD
Not everyone wears dark colours in winter in the Manning Valley. The Manning Winter Festival aims to prove this is true by presenting a gala Dinner Dance with the theme, “Brighten Our World.” Dress code is “Dress to Impress!” and “Be Colour Creative.” Supporting Ovarian Cancer Research, the event aims to celebrate the Magic of the Manning as well as Community Creativity, both of which are colourful aspects of this vibrant region, winter or not.
The event will be supporting ovarian cancer research and promises to be a great night out for the young and the-not-so-young. Everyone is urged to hunt out their brightest gear and cut a dash. Prizes will be awarded for the most colourful outfits. “With all the dress colour options available for both women and men these days, everyone can get into the theme of the evening,” says event coordinator, Mon Saad. “Even though winter darkness sets in earlier these days, that is no reason to hide those colourful clothes away,” she added.
This not to be missed event will be held at The Waterfront Function Centre, Exchange Hotel, Victoria Street, Taree, on Friday 10 June commencing at 7pm. Tickets are $55 per person which includes a 3 course meal, music by the Red Cedar Band, dancing, entertainment and prizes.
Tickets can be obtained from Movies, Games and More, Shop 1, 208 Victoria Street, Taree. Ph: 6552 5699.
The Festival Committee encourages everyone to bring along their brightest smiles and dazzle with colour.
